| Our
New Adoptees
If you see a dog that interests you, please be sure to fill out
our application.
You must submit an application and be interviewed before you can
adopt
a dog.
IMPORTANT NOTE
We DESPERATELY need a late model air conditioned van suitable for hauling crates and dogs to and from the vets, shelters as well as to and from Adoption shows.
Our current vehicle is so old and so ready to roll off of the planet, we are feeling scared. Without this we are pretty much out of the adoption business as we know it. The costs to repair this vehicle outweigh it's usefulness, and our "disposible" income is already flagged for spays, neuters and other veterinary expenses.
In return you WILL recieve a tax deduction and our undying gratitude.
We are definately willing to drive to pick it up.
This is an ASAP situation.
You can visit our available dogs at the kennel by appointment
only from 10 to 4 during the week . Please call
during business hours (8-5 M-F) *before* coming
out to visit.
New: Dog Tales...
Read about the new lives of our adopted dogs. Heartwarming and great reading! Read our Dog Tales...
Spanish language Hotline for spaying/neutering dogs
If you meet someone who needs to get their dog spayed/neutered, is low income, and they are more comfortable booking their appointment and asking
questions in Spanish please have them call

BEAR, Mixed Breed, Male
Bear is an 8 month old n/male mixed breed...probably Shepherd X Rottweiler X Chow
and who knows what else.
His dad found him as a pup, he apparently lives in an area where dogs are routinely dumped. He kept the puppy, cared for him well and he has all of his sots and neuter.
He is friendly, sits and walks on a leash. He gets along with other dogs and likes people.
He would be best with a female dog, we always think that for large breeds, opposite sex match ups are the best and generally the most successful.
Dad is a Cal Fire Fireman and this is fire season, he is rarely ever home and asked us to find his loved pet a good home...is it yours?
A secure yard and a family would be ideal. Older kids would be a plus for this beautifully colored and friendly young dog. |

ABNER, Schipperke, Male
Abner si a 1 year old purebred male
SCHIPPERKE.
This small, active dog is a little shy with people. he came from a breeding mill and has not had much experience. He would not be a candidate for a home with kids, but we would prefer an adult home
for this attractive small young animal.
With some time, training and tlc, he should become a wonderful pet. And the gophers and squirrels will stay away also..what a bonus! An understanding of this breed, which has an interesting history, is a plus and we suggest that you look up this breed online.

ROY, Terrier Mix, Male
They call me ROY because I came from Apple Valley. I'm a
young adult (about 7 mos old)
male TERRIER mix.
Small and friendly, I like other dogs, and I will need a family that has the time to give me attention and training. A secure yard would be a good idea also.
I would be a fine companion for older kids, or adults with size restrictions. I am friendly, intelligent and I love to learn. I have a low maintenance coat.
I will be neutered and micro chipped at adoption. |
 |
DALE, Terrier Mix, Male
My name is Dale and I'm a young adult male (about 9 mos).
I am friendly, like people and other dogs and I need an active, friendly home with a secure yard. Another dog, especially a girl one, would be fine with me. I would love to play with older kids or take leash walks with someone older who has size restrictions. I am about 15 lbs and I have a low maintenance coat, brushing will do fine for me, but I do not photograph well...black dogs rarely ever do. Come see me in person..I'm waiting. |

HURRAH, Chinese Crested, Male
Hurrah is a 3-year old purebred male
CHINESE CRESTED.
I am very handsome and weigh about 9 lbs. I need an experienced Crested home. I am very sweet, but nervous until I get to know you...I'm very shy and need alot of socializion. I have never lived with children. I get along well with other dogs of all sizes and cats. Cresteds are a breed that can be reserved, but will warm up to strangers with handling...need a fashion model around the house? Hurrah is packed and ready to go...

Ninja Belle - Kitten
This 12 week-old, unnamed, female kitten has the longest tail ever and is very playful. She loves dogs even more than she likes other cats. A kitty-friendly young dog would love to have this pretty little gal as a friend. ...and we would love to see her in a home. She has lived with a puppy her same age until the pup was adopted and she was left behind.
Note: Occasionally, we get a kitty. This does not mean that we are a kitty rescue. Please don't send us your litter of kittens. Get your cat spayed, instead. There are many free or nearly free spay programs for kitties. Give us a call and we will let you know where they are, or contact your local animal control if you are in Riverside or San Bernardino counties. |

Many Lovely Beagles
The beagles pictured have been adopted. However, we are currently the rescue arm for the Southern California Beagle Club. We have many beagles at our kennel. If you are looking for a beagle, please check here, or check with us to find out what is avaliable.
Note: Beagles get in trouble when you leave them in the backyard all day long, they want to be part of a family.
This is what beagles like to do!
